The books
What paper do you use?
Either 90gsm or 100gsm depending on the title — the planners are 100gsm, the pocket journals 90gsm, and the specification table on each product page says which. Both are well above the 70-80gsm used in most notebooks, which is the weight at which fountain pen and highlighter start bleeding through.
Do the books really lie flat?
Yes. They are sewn rather than glued, so a spread opens flat and stays there without being held down, and the spine does not shed pages over time.
What is a cover print?
The same book with a different cover. The pages inside are identical. Each print is a separate SKU, and some prints cost a little more depending on the finish, which is shown on the product page before you add anything to the cart.
Are the planners dated?
The 2027 planners are dated. The journals and notebooks are undated, so you can start them whenever you like. Each product page says which it is in the specification table.
Ordering and payment
How do I pay?
Through DOKU, which covers bank transfer via virtual account, QRIS and credit card. You choose the method on DOKU's own secure page after the order is placed. We never see or store your card details.
When is my order confirmed?
When the payment clears, not when you land back on our site. Virtual account and QRIS usually confirm within a minute or two. Your order page updates itself while it waits.
Can I use a discount code?
Yes, in the voucher box at checkout. A code may apply to everything in the basket or only to certain books, and the checkout tells you which as soon as you apply it.
Delivery
How long does it take?
Orders are packed within one to two business days. After that J&T Express usually takes two to five days depending on how far the parcel is going.
How much is postage?
Indonesian postage is quoted live by J&T Express for your exact district, so you see the real figure before you pay rather than an estimate. Orders over Rp 500.000 ship free.
Do you ship outside Indonesia?
Malaysia and Singapore. Postage is a flat rate per rounded-up kilogram — RM 20.00 per kg to Malaysia and S$ 8.00 per kg to Singapore — and the whole basket is priced in that country's currency once you pick it at checkout.
How do I track my parcel?
Every order gets a tracking page, and the link is in your confirmation. Once the parcel is handed over, the J&T Express waybill number appears there with a button through to their own tracking.
If something is wrong
My book arrived damaged.
Email help.paperielab@gmail.com with your order number and a photo. A book that arrives damaged or misprinted is our problem to fix, not yours to argue about.
Can I change my address after ordering?
If the parcel has not gone out yet, usually. Email help.paperielab@gmail.com with your order number as soon as you can — once a waybill is issued the address is with the courier.
